Our FIFTH ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY was a smash success! Thanks to everyone who joined us on the block, 30th Ave between 38th + Steinway!
Thousands joined us over the course of the day, enjoyed STREET SEATING in front of The Wolfhound, DRINK SPECIALS to kick off the day, an incredible LINEUP OF DJs (new DJ on the hour every hour), a LOCAL VENDOR MARKET featuring some of our favorite makers and sellers (art, clothing, accessories, and more), and FOOD including Tikkun BBQ + Mom’s Momo, the AFTER-PARTY with a special DJ set from longtime friend Lucas Llani and LIVE MUSIC with Alt-Side Parking, a cover band fronted by one of Astoria’s best entertainers, Jay Defiance.
It was a day of dancing in the sun, meeting neighbors over drinks, and neighborhood bonding among DJs and Vendors. We’ll see you again in 2027!
How do we do this? We’re piggy-backing on the regularly occurring 30th Avenue Street Fair. We work with the organizers to book the entire block and program it ourselves!
Heads up, neighbors - this event is completely free + family friendly - bring your kids, your parents, your doggos - this one is for everyone!
Bring cash for best prices. Be ready to dance (dance party is usually rocking by 4pm).
